Smashing Times wish to congratulate EPALE and Erasmus+ on their new publication: Upskilling Pathways: Equal Opportunities and Participation through Adult Education. This book is available now online – click here to access – and will be made available in hard copy in the new year.

Mary Moynihan, Smashing Times Artistic Director, is delighted to have an article included in this new publication. This article, titled ‘Drama for Change – using creative processes in adult education’, is based on a presentation and theatre workshop which Mary led at an EPALE and Erasmus+ Symposium in Austria in June, earlier in 2018, and the project Drama for Change which Smashing Times ran from 2014-17. This project was run with five European partners from Ireland, Germany, Bulgaria, Spain and the Netherlands, using creative methods to develop a new training curriculum for adult educators via the arts to promote anti-racism, gender equality and diversity.
