Interview with poet Paddy Bushe

Today’s show has a feature artist interview with poet Paddy Bushe who is one of the six contributing artists to Edition VII of Tintreach: The Smashing Times Arts and Literary Journal. Paddy Bushe was born in Dublin, and has lived in Iveragh for more than 50 years. Paddy is a member of Aosdána and has published 15 collections of poetry in both English and Irish. His prose work The Amergin Step is a personal exploration of the imagination and landscape of Iveragh.

Edition VII of Tintreach: The Smashing Times Arts and Literary Journal was published on Saturday, 18 July 2026, as part of Smashing Times’ inaugural Kerry Arts and Human Rights Festival. She established and became Artistic Director of Smashing Times International Centre for the Arts and Equality and is Artistic Curator for the annual international Arts and Human Rights festival.
