Edition VII of Tintreach: The Smashing Times Arts and Literary Journal was published on Saturday, 18 July 2026, as part of Smashing Times’ inaugural Kerry Arts and Human Rights Festival. This is a special bilingual edition themed ‘Muintearas: Macallaí Uíbh Ráthaigh/Belonging: Echoes of Iveragh’, incorporating both Irish and English, and publishing six artists with a connection to Uíbh Ráthach/Iveragh in County Kerry.

The edition’s themes include belonging, identity, art, place, community, the Irish language, and nature. The contributing artists are Paddy Bushe (poet) and Dominika Piekarska (visual artist), who are Featured Artists for this edition, as well as June O’Sullivan (novelist), Ita Ryan (writer), John Goode (poet), and Marie O’Shea (writer). Edition VII was launched in The Barracks Heritage Centre, Cahersiveen, Kerry on Saturday 18 July 2026.
