The European Commission and its Creative Europe programme invite projects in the field of the conservation of cultural heritage to apply for Europe’s most prestigious awards: the European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra Awards 2026. This year, awards will be given in five categories: conservation and adaptive reuse; research; education, training and skills; citizens engagement and awareness-raising; and heritage champions.

dlr Arts Office, in partnership with Blackrock Education Centre, wishes to engage six artists for the 2025/26 Primary Arts Programme. The programme supports children, artists, and teachers to create, explore, and encourages creative, process-based play in the classroom. We are open to applications from artists from all artforms.

Name: Little Sparks: Inclusive Arts Project at Dún Laoghaire Baths 2025

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is excited to partner with Kildarton Specialised Preschool and Carmona School on this studio project for professional artists. We will support an artist(s) to develop their arts practice with children with disabilities from two-and-a-half to seven years of age. The artist(s) will receive a monthly fee to support their practice, a materials budget, and a training stipend. We will offer an artist(s) access to a studio in dlr Baths from late September 2025 for 12 months. It will give the artist(s) the space and time to create their work.

Name: Music Network and Ionad Cultúrtha Musician-in-Residence Programme

Applications are now open for the Music Network and Ionad Cultúrtha Musician-in-Residence Programme (Baile Mhúirne). On this occasion, we welcome applications solely from professional musicians who are resident in Ireland, who are autistic/people with autism, and who have a strong track record in music performance. The appointed Musician-in-Residence will receive a bursary of €8,000 and the residency will provide support for the Musician-in-Residence to devote time in October and November 2025 to develop their creative practice, create new work and/or artistic collaborations which engage with the Irish language and/or the Gaeltacht in a creative way, and more.

Name: Maynooth University: Dr Sinéad McGrath Memorial Scholarship Scheme

The Department of International Development, Maynooth University welcomes applications for a Masters bursary, which is worth €2500 for the winning student. The bursary will be granted to an outstanding individual who has been accepted for a place on either the full-time taught MA in International Development or MA in International Peacebuilding, Security and Development Practice.

Name: Arts Council of Northern Ireland: Small Capital Grants Programme

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has designed this programme to enable organisations to purchase equipment and/or carry out minor works to their premises which will provide opportunities to upgrade equipment and carry out necessary works to ensure they maintain a presence in the arts sector. The scheme aims to provide grants which will help to: maintain/improve the quality of artistic activities delivered; improve the accessibility of the arts; improve the environment for the arts sector; or enhance or broaden the audience/participants’ experience.

Name: What Works Enhancing Quality Fund 2025

The What Works Enhancing Quality Fund has been established under the Quality strand of the What Works initiative. The aim of the Quality strand is to align, enhance, and sustain quality in prevention and early intervention as it relates to the development and delivery of policy, provision, and practice for children and young people. The fund is open to practitioners and service providers in not-for-profit organisations working with children, young people, and their families and who have a strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention.

Name: dlr Mill Theatre: Evolution Residency

This residency is designed for one mid-career playwright who wishes to dedicate time to developing their craft and a new theatrical work. It offers time, space, and resources to support an ambitious creative project, encouraging exploration of new forms, larger-scale productions, or multimedia integration. The residency begins with participation in the Next Stage Programme during the Dublin Theatre Festival, providing intensive exposure to international performance work, as well as engagement with fellow participants through workshops and discussions.

Calling all artists, arts workers, and producers with a passion for Creative Accessible Production. In 2025/26, Disrupt Disability Arts Festival will offer a groundbreaking opportunity for paid professional development. We want to revolutionise the role and skill sets of producers in Ireland, upskill people’s current creative practices, and provide the training to make these more accessible. The Creative Access Production Programme will offer mentorship, training, support, and work placements over 14-18 months.

Name: National PPI Festival Fund 2025

The overarching goal of this seed funding is to offer supports of €1000 to assist University of Galway staff or students, all patient and community organisations, and individual PPI contributors to host a National PPI Festival event in October that aligns with the festival’s aims. The support funds can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including refreshments and catering, design and print, creating accessible information, venue hire, PPI contributor involvement, equipment hire, facilitators hire, interpreters hire, and software or equipment costs.

The application period to submit works to become a Twenty26 artist is open. Everyone who applies to Aerowaves has the chance to have their work programmed by the partners of the network, whether or not they are selected as Aerowaves artists. Around 100 performance opportunities are guaranteed by the partners and supported by Aerowaves each year.

The Irish-Language Theatre Award supports the production and touring of large-scale Irish-language theatre. It focuses on ensuring more people can enjoy high-quality theatre experiences in the Irish language throughout the country. Aisling Nic Artáin, Head of Irish-Language Arts and Literature, will be holding information sessions on 10 July to discuss the Irish-Language Theatre Award.

The Arts Council of Ireland’s Project Award supports specific projects across various artforms. It focuses on enabling individual artists and organisations to bring their ideas to fruition and create excellent artistic work. Artforms include Architecture, Participatory Arts, Children and Young People’s Arts, Circus, Dance, Film, Literature, Music, and more.

Name: dlr First Frames 2025/26 Scheme

dlr First Frames 2025/26 is open for applications. Funding will be available to support two short films with awards of up to €13,500 (VAT incl.) each. Mentoring support as well as additional equipment and facilities will be provided by the National Film School, IADT. The Scheme supports emerging filmmakers to develop creative short films based in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s New Small Grants Programme, funded by support from the Department for Communities Northern Ireland, aims to encourage greater participation in the arts, and to increase equality of access to, and opportunities in, the arts across all Section 75 groupings. The Regional Council of Normandy invites organisations from Normandy, France, the UK, the Channel Islands, Ireland, Southern Italy, Norway, and Denmark to respond to this call for projects to be part of a major event in 2027. The year-long programme will mark the millennium of the birth of William the Conqueror, inviting people across Europe to explore the Norman heritage that shaped our continent. Initiated by the Normandy Region of France, this major programme aims to foster European cooperation and create lasting legacies.

Name: Arts Council of Northern Ireland: Arts and Mental Health Partnership Programme

The programme aims to give creative opportunity to people living with mental health problems through engagement in high quality arts. The projects funded through the programme will be delivered to individuals living with a mental health condition. This will be demonstrated in the application when the project description will state the target group the applicant organisation intends to work with throughout the project. The programme is aimed at constituted community and voluntary groups.

Name: Shared Island Civic Society Fund

The new phase of the Shared Island Civic Society Fund is a €6 million three-year initiative, promoting practical North-South cooperation and engagement, primarily between grassroots community organisations across a range of sectors and themes, consistent with the objectives and commitments of the Good Friday Agreement. The 2025 round will allocate up to €2 million, and applications will be accepted from Monday, 26 May 2025, to Friday, 27 June.

Name: AIB Community €1 Million Fund

The AIB Community €1 Million Fund enables customers, the public, and our employees to support the local charities that matter most to them, within their region. The Fund supports charities across six regions in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Great Britain. AIB will once again allocate €700,000 to charities chosen by its customers and the community, while €300,000 will be donated to charities chosen by employees. The 2025 AIB Community €1 Million Fund opened for nominations on 14 May and will remain open for six weeks.

The Social Justice Fund is part of, and supported by, the Northern Ireland Human Rights Fund (NIHRF). Grants will be available of up to £5,000. Applications must give voice and power to those whose human rights are most at risk; or provide groups and communities with support to challenge, monitor, and remedy inequality and rights violations; or increase awareness of, and contribute to, building a culture of rights within and between communities; or support communities and marginalised groups to find solutions to contentious issues.

VHI aims to support their customers to live longer, stronger, and healthier lives. In partnership with the Irish Youth Foundation (IYF), VHI is launching a fund of €85,000 to support young people’s health and wellbeing. The fund will support projects that seek to strengthen resilience in young people and help them manage anxiety, with the emphasis on early intervention and prevention. Projects may work directly with young people or with the adults that surround them.

Festivals are key producers and presenters of the arts, and are critical for engaging diverse audiences and broadening public access to the arts. They provide vital platforms and opportunities for artists to develop their practice, often showcasing the arts in new and challenging ways, in both conventional and non-arts spaces. The Festivals Investment Scheme supports small-to-mid-scale festivals to deliver high-quality arts experiences for audiences. It focuses on programmes engaged with, and relevant to, local communities or communities of interest.

Name: CLÁR-Funding for Small-Scale Rural Projects

CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd Riachtanais) or Funding for Small-Scale Rural Projects is a targeted investment programme which provides funding for small-scale infrastructural projects in rural areas that have suffered the greatest levels of population decline. Reopened in 2016, CLÁR aims to support sustainable development in identified areas by attracting people to live and work there. The funding works in conjunction with local funding and on the basis of locally identified priorities.

Name: Rethink Ireland: Hi Digital Fund

The Hi Digital Fund is aimed at addressing the digital skills gap among Ireland’s ageing population. We invite applications from projects and organisations that innovatively work to empower Ireland’s older adults to enhance their digital literacy, as well as improve social inclusion and quality of life through the use of technology, ensuring that no one is left behind as we transition to a more digital society. This €540,000, two-year fund is created by Rethink Ireland in partnership with the Vodafone Foundation, SmartSimple, private donors, and the Department of Rural and Community Development via the Dormant Accounts Fund.
