Coming up at the Smashing Times Visual Art Gallery: Alleyways, a solo exhibition by Avril Murphy Allen, running 5–8 February 2026. 

Alleyways is a visual exploration of the hidden, narrow spaces that exist between the visible structures of our cities and, metaphorically, between the visible parts of our lives. These passageways—often overlooked or avoided—hold the imprints of human resilience, memory, and transformation. 

Alleyways is an explosion of colour, featuring a range of artworks from a truly unique artist. All are welcome. Running at the Smashing Times Visual Art Gallery, 30 Sandycove Road.

Avril is also one of eleven visual artists involved in the Solstice Light Art in Winter Exhibition, which took place at the Smashing Times Visual Art Gallery, until Sunday 25 January 2026.
